Worship Wednesdays

My readers know I enjoy writing about faith and culture. What they may not know is that I also enjoy writing songs. 

In 2020, I hope to write a new worship song each week and post them here. My goal is to add original lyrics every Wednesday, along with a note about the biblical or thematic inspiration for each song.

I have a number of singer/songwriter friends, as well as friends who are skilled musicians but lack lyrics. I’d love for interested readers to reach out via the Connect form or on my social media accounts (message me on Facebook or Twitter) if you would like to put a particular song to music. Let’s collaborate!

For some of the songs I’ll post, I have a particular melody in mind. For others, I wrote the lyrics without a specific sound. The music and lyrics are all flexible.
